14 Sep Metadata – We’d Be Lost Without It!
The Guild of Music Supervisors is hosting its 2nd Annual State of Music in Media Conference on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Emerson College’s Los Angeles campus. Last year’s event was sold out and highlighted a variety of fascinating topics and stories told from the best industry professionals in the business. You don’t want to miss this Saturday’s event! We could be a little biased, but our very own Sarah Scarlata is on a panel with Jonathan Leahy from Aperture Music discussing the complicated (and important!) subject of metadata.
The panel is called “Metadata Standards and Solutions: Continuing the Discussion on How to Submit Music to Supervisors” which begins at 3:00pm in the Lecture Room (The DiBona Family Distance Learning Center).
Sarah is the Director of Creative Sync Licensing over here at 411 Music Group and has over nine years of experience working with metadata and pitching music to music supervisors. Her experience from both sides of the studio glass as a performer, composer and producer makes for a unique and enthusiastic approach to delivering the perfect music for any production.
You can still purchase tickets for the all-day event here, but don’t delay!
