06 Jun Erik Aho Finishes Three Epic Trailers
Erik Aho just finished three epic trailers that will be featured in the 411 “Epic Trailers: Volume 1” CD. We are so pleased to be working with such a fantastic and well-versed composer. After attending Berklee College of Music, Aho’s initial foray into composing came in the form of instrumental and string-arranging for producers Rick Parashar (Pearl Jam, Nickelback) and Jonathan Plum (Candlebox), including work with Unwritten Law (Interscope), Brandi Carlile (Columbia), The Fighting Machinists (Interscope) and Default (TVT). He has composed music for numerous critically acclaimed and commercially successful video games, including “No One Lives Forever”, which was chosen by critics as “Game of the Year” in 2001, “Drakan: The Ancients’ Gates”, and “The Suffering”, which sold over 1.5 million units.
His film and television composing credits include The Amazing Race (CBS), The Bachelor (ABC), The Miracle Workers (ABC), and Blood Relatives. His orchestrations and music production can be heard daily on The Family Guy (Fox).
And, there’s more where that came from! Aho plans to start work on 411’s “Epic Trailers: Volume 2”, which will be released later this year.
His trailers can currently be heard on the 411 Soundlcoud page. His works will be released with the launch of the catalog later this summer.
