
Amy Rider
You can turn on your TV every week and see Amy Rider on the hit series “Secret Life of the American Teenager” which is nominated for 4 Teen Choice Awards this year. But as a child Rider had no time to act. Her musical family had her touring Japan with their popular band by age 5. She quickly went solo releasing “Angel” with a major record label.
Off the success of “Angel”, her voice was used in over 20 TV campaigns – from Shiseido and Johnson & Johnson to Mazda. Her final per-formance in Japan was for Jill Scott’s record release party before flying to L.A. to shoot “24: Con-spiracy” for FOX. Rider went on to guest star on shows like “Without a Trace” (CBS), “Veronica Mars” (CW), “Big Shots” (ABC), and appear on numerous others. She has two new films out this year, and is shooting her 3rd season of the her People’s Choice Award Nominated Show on ABC Family where she portrays feisty high-schooler – Alice Valko. Rider is currently writing and producing new material and collabo-rating with various successful producers for a new CD. The latest song she performed and penned is being featured in an upcoming thriller
